The Gryphons women’s lacrosse team took a big step forward and Coss was one of the reasons why. The third-year midfielder from Annapolis, Maryland was one of Guelph’s best players in 2018, evidenced by her well-deserved status as a Second Team OUA All-star.

Coss can do it all, a vocal leader who excels at both ends of the field, whether she’s needed for her strong defensive work or to join the attack in search of goals. The captain was the first Gryphon to become an OUA all-star since 2015 and that versatility played a role in Guelph’s improvement this past season.

“Susanna brings an intensity to the field that is contagious for our entire team,” said head coach Staci Morris. “She's extremely talented and also possesses an incredible work ethic.”
