Gryphon Pizza Day Raises $5,200 in Support of Women's Scholarships

The Annual 'Gryphon Pizza Day' is a special day dedicated to support the 'She's Got Game' initiative and raise money for U of G women's athletic scholarships. On Feb 28, 2023 Domino’s in partnership with Gryphon Athletics hosted the 5th annual event and served up an incredible 1,300 pizza's, resulting in a total of $5,200.

Customers from all over the community had the opportunity to pick up a large cheese or pepperoni pizza for just $7.99 with Domino's generously donating $4 from every pizza sold to the 'She's Got Game' initiative.

"We are very grateful to Domino's Guelph for their ongoing support of Gryphon Athletics and the She's Got Game initiative," said Scott McRoberts, U of G Director of Athletics. "It was great to see the community come together to support She's Got Game, thank you to all our supporters for their generous contributions to our student-athletes future academic and athletic success."
